Funding Contingencies
Missouri State University Springfield campus will waive collecting $2.00 per credit hour of the approved $4.00 per credit hour increase over 2017-2018 tuition for Missouri resident undergraduate students and will waive collecting $8.00 of the $13.00 per semester increase for student services fees, which will result in an increase of 1% for Missouri resident undergraduate full time students for the 2018-19 academic year under the terms of the Higher Education Student Funding Act, provided both of the following conditions are met for the 2018-19 academic year:
- The Truly Agreed and Finally Passed FY2019 operating appropriation for the Missouri State University System equals $83,401,060; and
- Missouri State University receives the full appropriation less the traditional 3% withholding.
Should the Truly Agreed and Finally Passed FY2019 operating appropriation for the Missouri State University System be less than $83,401,060 or if there are additional appropriation withholdings during FY2019 above the traditional 3% withholding level, Missouri State University will reinstate and collect the $2.00 per credit hour increase for Missouri resident undergraduate students that was waived and collect the $8.00 per semester increase for student services fees that was also waived.
