President Smart's schedule from May 10-June 1, 2024, includes his last Commencement ceremonies, multiple board meetings, a trip to Jefferson City, and an awards reception where he will receive the Distinguished Public Service Award.

He will be on vacation from May 17-27.

Friday, May 10

President Smart will take part in his final Commencement ceremonies on the Springfield campus, celebrating the achievements of MSU students. Go Bears!

Saturday, May 11

President Smart will take part in his final Commencement ceremony on the West Plains campus. Go Grizzlies!

Monday, May 13

President Smart will attend the Alliance for Healthcare Education Board meeting.

Tuesday, May 14

President Smart will travel to Jefferson City.

Wednesday, May 15

President Smart will attend the Legislative Thank You breakfast in Jefferson City. He will return to Springfield to attend the Springfield Daily Citizen Awards Reception, where he will receive the Distinguished Public Service Award.

Thursday, May 16

President Smart will participate in the Community Leadership Forum in the morning. Later in the day, he will be interviewed on KMSU for the Engaging the Community segment.

Friday, May 17-Monday, May 27

President Smart will be on vacation.

Tuesday, May 28

President Smart will attend a City Utilities Board committee meeting.

Wednesday, May 29-Friday, May 31

President Smart will participate in the Missouri Valley Conference Spring Business and Board meetings.
