Schedule Highlights

Friday, June 14-Saturday, June 22, 2024

From June 14-22, 2024, President Smart's schedule includes trips to New York for a Missouri State Symphony reception, concert and alumni events, and to Kansas City for meetings. Locally, he will attend the United Way of the Ozarks Board meeting and the Staff Appreciation: Cookies with Clif event. Additionally, he will travel to West Plains for Board of Governors meetings and a Foundation Reception. He will end the week with Tent Theatre's production of "Crimes of the Heart."

Monday, June 11-Saturday, June 15

President Smart will travel to New York to attend a Missouri State Symphony reception and concert. While there, he will also participate in various alumni events before returning to Missouri.

Monday, June 17

President Smart will travel to Kansas City for various meetings.

Tuesday, June 18

President Smart will attend the United Way of the Ozarks Board meeting. He will also participate in the Staff Appreciation: Cookies with Clif event.

Wednesday, June 19

Campus is closed in celebration of Juneteenth.

Thursday, June 20

President Smart will travel to West Plains for several Board of Governors committee meetings. In the evening, he will attend the Board of Governors – Foundation Reception. 

Friday, June 21

President Smart will attend the Board of Governors meeting before traveling back to Springfield. In the evening, he will attend Tent Theatre’s production of “Crimes of the Heart.”
