Op6.04 Pregnant Student-Athlete Policy

The University is does not discriminate against student athletes on the basis of current, potential, or past pregnancy or related conditions as mandated by applicable law and/or NCAA regulations.  Student athletes may not be treated differently on the basis of any parental, family, or marital status.

Student Accommodations and Modifications.

If a student athlete would like to request an accommodation or modification, please contact the University’s Deputy Compliance Officer at (417) 836-6755 or JuliaHolmes@MissouriState.edu to initiate that interactive process.

Grievances and Complaints

If any person believes they have been discriminated against based on sex, pregnancy status, family status, or marital status, the person may contact the University’s Office for Institutional Equity & Compliance (“OIEC), at (417) 836-4252 or Equity@MissouriState.edu or file a complaint through the OIEC online portal.  No person shall be retaliated against for exercising their rights under this policy or applicable law.
