Out-of-State Tuition Waiver for Missouri High School Graduates
Op5.08-18 Out-of-State Tuition Waiver for Missouri High School Graduates
Individuals who: (1) continuously reside in Missouri for two or more years while attending and graduating from an accredited Missouri high school; (2) continue to reside in Missouri following high school graduation; (3) qualify for admission to MSU; (4) meet other criteria for institutional aid; and, (5) do not otherwise qualify for classification as a resident for fee purposes under the residency policy (G5.04) will receive a waiver of out-of-state tuition. This waiver will be renewed for students who make progress toward graduation and remain in good standing with the university. To qualify for this waiver, students must provide supporting documentation to the office of admissions. That office is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures for determining a student’s eligibility.
Effective July 1, 2015, consistent with Missouri House Bill 3 passed by the 98th General Assembly, out-of-state tuition waivers will not be granted to any student with an unlawful immigration status, including students who have been granted deferred action under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”).
