Policy statement

To the extent practicable, all software applications developed at Missouri State University should be created and maintained with a System Development Life Cycle which provides code control, to prevent unauthorized access to the applications, data, and systems. The Information Security Unit will periodically test applications for vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments. Updates and patches should be applied in a timely manner.
