Army Nurse Corps Financial Assistance
Two-, three- and four-year scholarships are available to nursing students. All scholarships provide full tuition, $1,200 per year for books and a tax-free, graduated stipend during the academic school year. Monthly stipend amounts are listed below:
- $300 for freshman year
- $350 for sophomore year
- $450 for junior year
- $500 for senior year
Qualified, interested nursing students can compete for Army ROTC nursing scholarships and become an Army nurse officer through the nursing programs at the following universities:
Scholarship criteria
In order to be eligible for nursing scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:
- United States citizenship
- High school graduate with a minimum of 2.5
- Minimum SAT of 920/ Minimum ACT of 19
- Physically fit and medically qualified
- Under 31 years of age on Dec. 31 of the year you graduate from college
- Good moral character
