GENERAL FUNCTION
The Executive-in-Residence is a non-tenure track faculty position appointed on the basis of outstanding professional attainments and recognition in his or her specific field and renders a specified service to the University.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum acceptable qualifications for the position of Executive-in-Residence are prescribed in the Faculty Handbook.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Executive-in-Residence are assigned by the academic department head.
SUPERVISION
The Executive-in-Residence receives administrative supervision from the department head and may exercise supervision of graduate assistants, undergraduate majors, or student employees.
