Tips for success
- For Life Sciences and Physical Sciences general education courses: One choice must
include a lab. The overall total of Life Sciences and Physical Sciences must be at
least seven (7) credit hours.
- For fourth semester CSD 210: This course is available as a block class (first and
second block available).
- Specific elective hours needed may vary depending on choices made in general education
and transfer work.
Major admission requirements
- Have at least a 3.0 GPA on all coursework attempted at Missouri State University.
For students with transfer credit, a combined GPA of at least a 3.0 must be achieved.
- Completion of a minimum of 50 hours of credit, which includes the following:
- Chemistry or Physics.
- Biology or Biomedical Sciences.
- College math (MTH 136 or higher).
- Completion of Human Cultures section of general education requirements.
