The CDR is active in the public school system, providing programming and resources to students, their families, teachers, and administrators.
Circles for Girls
The CDR provides the Circles for Girls program for youth in area middle and high schools. The gender-specific educational exploratory groups help to build communication skills and are designed to meet the unique needs of adolescent girls.
Guys' Gathering Circle
The CDR provides the Guys' Gathering Circle program for youth in area middle and high schools. The gender-specific educational exploratory groups help to build communication skills and are designed to meet the unique needs of adolescent boys.
Family Group Conferencing
The CDR accepts referrals from area schools to provide Family Group Conferencing services for youth to address issues that include truancy, behavioral issues, family difficulties, and other challenges.
Student Conflict Response Team Program
The Center for Dispute Resolution supports the “Student Conflict Response Team” program, which offers peer mediation and conflict coaching in several area middle and high schools.
