Our mission
To empower the Missouri State University community through Education, Connection, and Advocacy.
Our vision
We envision a campus community in which everyone has access to needed resources.
The Bear Pantry is a member of Swipe Out Hunger, a professional organization consisting of campus-based programs focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger, and poverty among college and university students in the United States.
A 2018 national study conducted by the Wisconsin Hope Lab found that 36% of college students are experiencing hunger.
