You are eligible for the Bear Launch program if the Office of Admissions accepts you under the Supplemental Application process. 

Bear Launch is subject to full undergraduate tuition and fees. Read about tuition, cost, and fees for more information. Billing is administered through the student's My Missouri State account.

Tuition and fees for IDS 118: Enhancing Learning Techniques for College and Life is covered by support from the Office of the President to support this important program.

You must register to attend Student Orientation, Advisement and Registration (SOAR) taking place throughout the summer. You will be pre-enrolled in IDS 118 and GEP 101.  You will select your other fall classes and receive your class schedule at SOAR.

Bear Launch includes a one-credit hour class, IDS 118: Enhancing Learning Techniques for College and Life, the week before school starts.  Bear Launch students will also be in a specific Bear Launch GEP 101, First Year Foundations, course.  All other fall courses will be determined when their advisor assists them with fall registration. 

If you have signed a housing contract, you may move into your assigned residence hall room one week early.  If you submit a housing contract and decide not to live in the residence halls and/or decide not to attend MSU, please notify Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services at 417-836-5536 or toll-free at 800-284-7535.
