Staff Senate reports to the President

Purpose: To serve as a communication medium between the staff and administration of Missouri State University. To identify and address matters of general staff concern by gathering information and relevant issues, studying alternatives, offering recommendations to the administration and sharing background data with the staff.

Membership: Members serve three-year terms. Terms begin July 1 and end June 30.

Staff Senate meets the first Thursday of each month from 11 AM-1 PM, typically in Glass 486. Please email StaffSenate@MissouriState.edu to confirm meeting location. All staff are welcome to attend Staff Senate meetings and participate in Staff Senate events.

Staff Satisfaction Survey

The Staff Satisfaction Survey is an initiative of Staff Senate that is collected every two years. The information collected from current Staff members is confidential and allows reports to be developed for the University administration.
